Fnord3 with .NET flavor
2006-01-10
I'm currently playing with refactoring Fnord to use .NET This should allow for easier project setup and development. :-)

not dead!
2005-11-12
fnord is by no means dead :-) not TOO long ago you may have noticed I added some more flavor to the physics demo, its shoots blocks from the camera with the spacebar now :-) also there is an upcoming fix for a small bug with the soundlistener, which was suggested by people on the irrlicht forums. those fine folks also suggest I work on scripting and SQL support, which I shall diligently attempt. also, in the CVS you may find some very rough networking stuff. Really doesnt do much now, as I'm still unsure how I want it to function. So....STAY tuned!!

New Newton Physics DEMO!
2005-09-25 22:45:22
There is a new NEWTON PHYSICS DEMO in the current fnord2 release HERE Give it a try!! Pretty basic at the moment, just a falling block, but it sufficiently demonstrates functional physics. Also, I have reorganized the fnord2 project files, to make them easier to develop with, and keep things all in one place. :-)

3d sound source scene node
2005-09-09 00:00:00
Check out the CVS for a preview of fnord2, which is a redesign and new version of the fnord engine. One of the new features is a 3d sound source scene node for irrlicht's scenegraph, which uses OpenAL to play sound with attenuation and doppler effect for distance and orientation. A demo project is included in the fnord2 project solution, or you can also download a standalone demo here Enjoy!!!

Welcome to Fnord!!
2005-09-06
Welcome to the new Fnord/Fmorg website! Sorry if its a big rough at the moment, but at the very least, it should be a bit faster than it once was. Feel free to check out the links at left, and know that there is more to come :-)
